2006 Cuveé Rouge
(Bordeaux Blend)
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot
Aging:
42 months in French oak (20% new)
Tasting Notes:
The 2006 Cuveé is a deep concentrated ruby color, and the
nose is a sophisticated blend of raspberry, plum, and
cedar notes. The mouthfeel is rich and complex flavors of
black cherry, ripe plum, minerals, and anise are inter-twined with spice and vanilla. The finish is exceptional, and
flavors of roasted vanilla bean and raspberry sweet tart are accented with well balanced acidity, and soft tannins.
Drink now or age worthy. This wine will be perfect with tender meats and sauces, as well as robust pasta dishes.
A real treat!
